DIVINE MERCY PILGRIMAGE
VILNIUS – KRAKOW – ROME
DIVINE  MERCY  FEAST IN POLAND

                  
DAY 1
Board your transatlantic flight to Vilnius, Lithuania.  Meal served on board.
DAY 2
On arrival in Vilnius meet your guide. Transfer to a hotel in Vilnius.  Mass at the Church of the Holy Spirit, where the original image of “Jesus, I trust in You” hangs.  Also stop at the house of the Sisters where St Faustina first saw the apparition of the revelation of Divine Mercy.  Dinner and overnight in Vilnius.
DAY 3
Excursion to Siauliai /250 km/to see the “Hill of Crosses” known as a place to express gratitude to God  for  divine favors and  where our Mass will be  celebrated. Return to Vilnius. Balance of afternoon free. Dinner and overnight in Vilnius.
DAY 4
After breakfast and check out, celebrate Mass at the Gate of Dawn, 16th century Icon of the Holy Mother of Mercy.  Transfer to Warsaw, /450 km/ capital of Poland for dinner and overnight.
DAY 5
Morning Mass at St John’s Cathedral, where you can pray at the tomb of Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski the Primate of the Millennium. After lunch at the Old town transfer to Czestochowa/ 240 km/ the spiritual capitol of  Poland. Dinner and overnight at Jasna Gora.
DAY 6
Morning guided tour of Jasna Góra Monastery, the spiritual capitol of Poland followed by Mass celebrated in front of the Miraculous Icon of Black Madonna venerated as “Queen of Poland”. In the afternoon transfer to Auschwitz Concentration Camp, a chilling reminder of the Holocaust. Visit a starvation cell of St. Maksymilian Kolbe. Evening arrival in Kraków for dinner and overnight.
DAY 7
Climax of our pilgrimage to Poland.  Join thousands of pilgrims for a solem Mass at the world capitol of the Divine Mercy in Krakow – Lagiewniki where St. Sister Faustina is buried.  After lunch join in the three o’clock prayer- Divine Mercy Chaplet. Dinner and overnight in Krakow.
DAY 8
Departure for Wadowice birthplace of  John Paul II. Visit a Basilica where the pope was baptized and his childhood home converted into a museum. Afternoon transfer to Zakopane/ 110 km/. Dinner and overnight in Zakopane.
DAY 9
Transitional day to Mariazell, Austria/ 600 km/. After an  early morning Mass in Zakopane, Krzeptówki transfer  to Mariazell, the most famous Marian Shrine in the Austrian Alps. While crossing  the Alps enjoy the most scenic  route. Dinner  and  overnight in Mariazell.
DAY 10
Morning Mass followed  by a guided  tour of the Basilica in Mariazell. Afternoon transfer to Padua, Italy to visit the tomb of St. Anthony.  Dinner  and  overnight in the area of Padua.
DAY 11
Departure  for Venice for a tour of the city. Visit the Golden Basilica of St Mark and celebrate  Mass by  tomb  of St Mark the Evangelist, patron  saint  of Venice. In the afternoon  we  return  to Padua to again visit the Basilica of St Anthony and city. Dinner and overnight in the area of Padua. 
DAY 12
 Continue your journey through Italy heading for Assisi, the city of St Francis.  Afternoon Mass at  St. Mary of the Angels Basilica where St Francis spent most of his life. Here we visit the Chapel of Transition, Portiuncola and the Rose garden. Dinner and overnight in Assisi.
DAY 13
After morning Mass at the Basilica of St Francis, the burial place of the saint, visit the Basilica of St. Clare where you can venerate the miraculous crucifix from which Jesus spoke to St Francis. After lunch in Assisi transfer to Rome. Dinner and overnight in Rome.
DAY 14
After morning Mass meet Pope Benedict XVI with the thousands of pilgrims from all over the world  for the Angelus and the papal blessing.  Afternoon at leisure in the Vatican City.  Dinner and overnight in Rome.
DAY 15
Sightseeing tour of “Christian Rome”. Morning Mass at the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, the burial site of the Apostle of Gentiles. Continue on to visit  St John Lateran and proceed to Scala Sancti, the Holy Stairs that Jesus had climbed before being sentenced to death. After lunch see St Mary Major the first Marian shrine in the Catholic Church. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight in Rome.
DAY 16
Morning Mass at St Peters followed by a guided tour of the Basilica and the Vatican Museums. In the afternoon tour of the “Ancient Rome” –Colosseum, Forum Romanum and the Capitolin Hill.  Dinner and overnight in Rome.
DAY 17
Morning transfer to airport for your return flight home.
